A cut branch generates the shape of this glass object. The appearance was set up of the constant growth of the tree. Schlack is an intermediate state, a snapshot of the tree, frozen in glass. A aluminium mold is used for the production which preserves the richness of detail of the branch.
Schlack is produced at the „Centre International d‘Art Verrier“ (CIAV) in Meisenthal, France.
